Epiphany

Ever had an realization that just knocks you right off your toes...?!? Well that my fel'Las and fel'Los if those are even words are epiphanies (okay maybe there is more to the definition but excuse me for being simple)! Well moving on I had one today that just totally blew my mind and made me look at people in different ways.

Now I'm one to state my opinion no matter..in most cases...usually it gets me in sticky situations with some dear ones. But I realized as I was walking around my college that I evolved somewhat from my primitive self...I've learned to accept people as they come and to appreciate that I as a human being have a duty to progress this world and move it away from a tainted society. 

YET 

This posses the question: Is it our duty as human beings to try and progress this world. I mean was there any rule written in stone or personally told to us through some far off dimension that we have to progress this world?

SO

 I can dig this question as someone who enjoys philosophy immensely. How do we come up with these answers?  I have an answer but will keep it to my-self for the time being...
